To CONNECT - not only to their peoples' heritage, but to any of our multitude of Scottish and Clan organizations locally, nationally, and internationally - including those in Scotland itself, if desired. We can also facilitate connections for those people seeking pipers, pipe and drum "bands", other musicians, dancers, speakers, and so on. For those interested in commerce with Scotland or Scottish businesses, we can also help make connections there, as well.
To PRESERVE - by making our resources available to all who seek the story of the Scots and their descendents all over the world - and by passing on that story and making a place for learning and connection, we keep the heritage alive for generations to come. We also archive books, magazines, videos, music, newsletters, and cultural items of Scottish, Scots-Irish and Scottish-American interest.
And lastly, to CELEBRATE ! All of this is anything but a "dry, academic exercise". Once you begin your journey into your heritage and connect with others that are also doing so, there is no shortage of activities you can enjoy in the celebration of your "cultural inheritance". If that's what you want, we'll get you started right away.

Due to limitations of staff and resources as we establish and grow the SCOTTISH AMERICAN CENTER, we will not be able to offer online interaction, teaching, counseling, etc. One of our goals is to establish an online communications staff to expand our capabilities in this respect, so watch for those developments in the future ...
